Our Programs
Postdoctoral Fellowship Program
The Pasteur Foundation administers its Postdoctoral Fellowship Program in collaboration with the Institut Pasteur to bring U.S. postdoctoral researchers to Institut Pasteur laboratories in Paris. Fellows work in one of the Institut’s 130 research labs devoted to the science of improving health and saving lives.
This fellowship is open to American citizens who have received their PhD degree within the last five years. Since its inception in 2002, the Fellowship Program has supported the careers of over 50 U.S. scientists. Packages are comprised of a stipend and bench fees for your lab and are paid annually for the term of the three-year Fellowship.
Applications will be available soon for fellowships commencing this year. Thank you.
Undergraduate Summer Internship Program
The Pasteur Foundation Undergraduate Summer Internship Program provides U.S. students who have completed their third year of undergraduate study with the opportunity to conduct summer research at the Institut Pasteur. The Foundation’s goal is to encourage students in the pursuit of a scientific career by providing international laboratory experience.
During the internships, interns will carry out research supervised by a lab mentor. Interns receive a $6,500 stipend to cover living, travel and housing costs.
Due to a change in U.S. visa rules, there will be no application process this year. Please check back for any updates or changes. Thank you.
