End of Year Giving: Investing in your future health...

Dear Friends,

As we end another year, and look forward with hope and promise to 2017, I am reminded quite powerfully that our work at the Pasteur Foundation and Institut Pasteur is far from over. We have an unfinished agenda of finding better treatments, therapies and cures for disease.

While the work of Pasteur funded fellows and scientists continues to be among the most important and promising in the basic sciences, the very tangible promise of future discoveries rests with the continued generosity and ongoing commitment of our friends and donors.

You fund discovery. Your support fuels the engine of discovery - funding leading research as diverse as Autism to Zika virus.

Your support funds critical gaps in our knowledge of the root causes of disease. Investment in our work helps better predict, identify and lessen the effects of Emerging Infectious Diseases such as Ebola and the inevitable next wave of disease.

Your gifts support the purchase of lab equipment, ensuring that funding is never interrupted irrespective of changes in governmental leadership or budget cuts.

In 2017, the Pasteur Foundation takes special pride in awarding our 50th fully funded three-year Postdoctoral Fellowship.

Thanks to you, the field remains robust with creative and eager minds.

This year, I ask that you consider making a gift that will send a strong message to our scientists that their work matters; that there will always be funding for bright and energetic Postdoctoral Fellows; and that the next generation of scientists will have opportunities to pursue their work thanks to Pasteur-sponsored programs.

Thank you, and should you care to discuss how best to direct your gift, please feel free to contact me via email at director@pasteurfoundation or by phone at 212.599.2050.

Sincerely,

Gregory A. Corsico, Executive Director
